Alberta

Alberta is a heavy equipment market: Athabasca oil sands, coal mining, quarries and aggregates, and the full oil and gas chain. These are high-throughput installations where crushing, material handling and solid-liquid separation run continuously, and where unplanned downtime is immediately expensive. We bring in the equipment of the manufacturers we represent, and we handle supply, installation coordination and commissioning.

Regions served

  • Fort McMurray & Athabasca region (oil sands)
  • Edmonton & industrial heartland (refining, petrochemicals)
  • Calgary & Southern Alberta (aggregates, cement)
  • Grande Prairie & Northwest (natural gas)
  • Rocky Mountain foothills (coal, quarries)

Operational mobilization

Major Alberta turnarounds are planned mainly in spring and autumn, between the temperature extremes. Cold-weather configuration is not optional: heating, tracing, elastomer and hydraulic fluid selection must be specified at order stage rather than corrected on site.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a physical presence in Alberta?

We operate from Montreal and serve Alberta through travel and local installation partners. We say so up front: for an Alberta project, the execution structure is set out in the proposal, with no ambiguity about who does what.

Is equipment configured for the Alberta climate?

Cold-weather configuration is part of the technical selection: service temperature ranges, heating, elastomer and fluid selection. It is documented in the selection note issued with the quotation.
