Commissioning is where an installation becomes a producing asset. We run the sequence in order: pre-commissioning checks and punch list closure, cold commissioning without process material, hot commissioning under load, then performance testing against the criteria written into the purchase order. Operators and maintenance staff are trained on the equipment they will run, in French or English, and the handover package contains the test records, the settings actually used and the maintenance plan — not a generic manual.

What does a performance test actually verify?
Whatever the purchase order made contractual — throughput, product specification, moisture content, power draw, availability. If no acceptance criteria were written into the order, we say so before start-up and propose measurable ones, because a test without criteria settles nothing.
Is training included in commissioning?
Operator and first-line maintenance training is part of the standard commissioning scope, delivered on the equipment itself, in French or English. Deeper maintenance training can be added as a separate session.
