Our Expertise
Mining is our core market. We supply the equipment that keeps comminution and dewatering circuits running: IC Boom System hydraulic booms that clear crusher blockages without exposing anyone to the chamber, filter presses for concentrate and tailings dewatering, and hydrocyclone clusters for classification and water recovery. Selection starts from your throughput, feed characteristics and target product — then we handle supply, installation inside the shutdown window, commissioning and the spare parts that keep the unit available. Our territory covers Quebec, Ontario and the rest of Canada, with cold-weather and remote-access constraints built into the specification rather than discovered on delivery.
Problems we address
- Crusher blockages stopping the plant and exposing crews to the chamber
- Filter cake moisture above target, driving transport and disposal cost
- Classification inefficiency causing overgrinding or loss of fines
- Remote-site logistics and narrow shutdown windows
Equipment in scope
- Primary and secondary crushers and their feed openings
- Grizzly bars, scalper decks and transfer chutes
- Filter presses for concentrate and tailings dewatering
- Hydrocyclone clusters and classification circuits
- Process water recovery and effluent treatment circuits
Operational Constraints
- Continuous 24/7 operation with limited shutdown windows
- Remote site access and seasonal delivery windows
- Cold-weather configuration required for northern operations
- Abrasive slurries at high solids content driving wear rates
Recommended equipment
- IC Boom System — hydraulic unblocking booms for gyratory, jaw and HSI crushers
- Filter presses — chamber, membrane and plate-and-frame configurations
- Hydrocyclone clusters for classification, desliming and water recovery
- Critical spares package sized to the site's supply lead times
Types of Shutdowns
- Planned annual turnaround (4–10 day window)
- Campaign changeover between ore types
- Emergency shutdown on critical equipment failure
Risks We Help You Avoid
- Unplanned production loss from a blocked crusher chamber
- Safety incident from manual blockage clearing
- Shutdown window overrun on a badly planned installation
- Equipment idle for weeks waiting on a spare part from overseas
Sector FAQ
Which mining equipment do you supply?
IC Boom System hydraulic crusher unblocking booms — our own brand — filter presses and hydrocyclone clusters. Additional manufacturer representations are being added; contact us for the current list for your circuit.
Do you install during mine shutdowns?
Yes, that is the normal case. Planning starts from the spring (April–May) or winter (November–January) shutdown dates and works backwards: order, manufacturing, transport, pre-assembly and lifting sequence.
How do you size an unblocking boom for our crusher?
Boom reach, articulation geometry, hammer weight and mounting interface are sized to the crusher model, its structure and the feed size handled. We issue a written selection note before the quotation.
